Requests for registration cancellation refunds must be received and processed by 5:00 pm, February 22, 2024.
Replacement attendees are permitted and encouraged in place of cancellation.
A refund of 75% of the registration fee will be issued. No refunds can be issued for cancellations received past the deadline.
Dietary restrictions and special accommodation requests must be received by February 22, 2024.
MWELA will abide by all current health restrictions and guidelines that may be in place at the time of the conference.
CLE Information:
Required sponsor documentation has been forwarded to and credit requested from MCLE states with general requirements for all attorneys. Attorneys should keep the original or a copy of the Certificate of attendance for your files. MWELA pays applicable fees in states where the sponsor is required to do so. Please be aware that each state has its own rules and regulations, including the definition of “CLE”; therefore, certain programs may not receive credit in some states.
• Take and complete a Certificate of Attendance for your records
• Sign in and add your state and state bar number in the space indicated
• See page 1 for the states where MWELA has sought CLE credit; MWELA reports attendance in those states
• Most other states offer reciprocal credit
Virginia Attendees
The CLE Coordinator will provide you with the Virginia form via email after receiving it from the Virginia CLE Board, approximately 90-120 days following the event.
- 60-minute states are: AL, AZ, AR, CA, DE, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KY, LA, MN, MS, MT, NE, NH, NV, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, VT, WA and WY
- 50-minute states are: CO, FL, KS, MO, NJ, NM, NY, OK, RI, UT, WV and WI
MWELA does NOT seek credit in California, New Jersey or New York. These states require we apply for credit only when the course is being presented in their state. Provided the course is accredited in another state, CA, NJ and NY will accept the attendee’s credit hours via reciprocity.
