On October 6, 2020, the Montgomery County Council passed Bill 14-20, which redefined harassment to include conduct that is harassing but does not meet the severe or pervasive standards required under other laws. Hear from MWELA members Cathy Harris and Daniel Clark, who were instrumental in getting this legislation passed, about the substance of the law, its implications for employees, and strategies for how we can utilize its provisions in advocating for employees.
